Accurate Fixed and Plunge Base Cuts
This versatile kit provides all the components necessary for fixed-depth routing and plunge routing, as well. Microfine bit depth adjustment systems on both bases allow for accurate and fast bit depth adjustments. The microfine adjustment has an overall range of one inch and is accurate to 1/64 inch.

Both bases also feature the Bosch Precision Centering Design, which allows the bit to be centered with the subbase or optional template guides. This makes it easier than ever to keep the bit on the intended cutting-line when using guidance devices such as jigs, templates, or dovetail fixtures.

Both of the included bases, fixed and plunge, feature quick clamp systems for quick tool-free conversions, so moving the motor between the two bases takes only seconds and requires no tools. I have only had this router for a few months and used it a limited amount, but it has worked flawlessly so far. It is mainly being used in the Bosch router table I purchased at the same time, but I also have used it on its own as well. The depth adjustment works very well as does the speed adjustment feature. It is also nice to have both the standard and plunge base.

I did consider a Delta-Porter but heard so many more positives for Bosch. It regularly sells from $349-$449. I only ranked 4 out of 5 stars simply because no-ones perfect and manufacturers need to continue striving for perfection.

I found this to be an excellent routert kit for the home woodworking shop. It is powerful and flexible enough to do most any task. I bought it due to excellent reviews in woodworking magazines and was not disappointed. Also, there is a full range of accessories available to adapt it to many jobs.

This is a great router. Excellent fit and finish, plenty of power, You can not go wrong with this one. Picked mine up for $189 @ Lowes.

Nice kit. Router works well and is well built. It operates smoothly and reliably.Both bases work well and accessories fit well.The only possble drawback is that frequently the bases are hard to remove, but this issue is not bad enough to even cost the kit one star.
